MEET ANDY WEINS
I own Camo Crew Responsible Junk Removal, and I breathe life into people, places, things I interact with through entrepreneurship and thought leadership.
A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE ON JUNK REMOVAL
Camo Crew Responsible Junk Removal provides residential and commercial junk removal services to the Greater Milwaukee area. Our crew is professional, responsive, and courteous. We are Veteran-owned and locally-rooted, and we focus on sustainability at heart by diverting 80% of material from landfills through recycling and donations.
INSPIRATION BEHIND THE BUSINESS
Growing up, I used to ride along with my dad the night before trash day in nice neighborhoods, searching for hidden treasures among what others had discarded. Those experiences sparked a passion for finding value where others see none - whether it’s in objects, places, or people. That mindset inspired me to start my junk removal company, where we focus on responsible removal, landfill diversion, and uncovering the potential and purpose in what others see as unwanted.
BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION
The main factor that has helped me grow in my business is the people I’ve surrounded myself with. Building a team of the right individuals, those who believe in my vision and are willing to support and contribute to it, has been instrumental in turning my dream into a reality.
WISDOM
If I were starting my business over today, I would focus first on clearly establishing the values and purpose of the business. A strong foundation rooted in these principles naturally guides all other aspects of the business, allowing growth to follow more intentionally and sustainably.
JOURNEY
The best piece of business advice I’ve ever received is, “These are the good old days.” It serves as a reminder to stay present, appreciate the journey, and focus on what truly matters in both business and life.

WORKING WITH ANDY
Andy reached out to me for some updated personal brand photography. I'd been to his facility before, but this time it was all about finding the right spots to capture the vibe we wanted. Andy was open to any ideas I had and let me take the reins on where we would photograph him.
I rolled in with my assistant and equipment on a gorgeous sunny day. The large overhead doors were wide open, letting in some amazing light, which was perfect for our photos. We took a few shots near the open doors, and the light was just right to highlight Andy.
Inside I came across a display of weathered American flags that felt like a perfect fit for Andy, given his background as a veteran. We decided to add some lights and bring Andy in. He liked the flags too, and they added to the character of his portrait there.
Then there was the organized junk! Andy showed us these huge boxes filled with metal pieces. He wanted to do some photography there. After a bit of finagling to get into a good position, we managed to capture some great pictures just in time before Andy had to head out.
